Henley-on-Thames is an extremely picturesque town. Traditional shops and restaurants abound. A walk along the tow-path by the Thames is a very relaxing way to spend an hour. The spectacle of the Henley Regatta is one not to be missed (but watch out for helicopters in regatta-week!). From overhead the classic bridge in the town centre you can see the airfield and Henley is a good place to liase with ATC; this will then give plenty of time to sort-out the circuit join. |
